What is it? Autologous Bone Marrow Transplant: A treatment for cancer where a patients bone marrow is drawn off in small amounts and stored before beginning chemotherapy. This procedure is performed to prevent the bone marrow being damaged. After chemotherapy is finished, the bone marrow is given back (reinfused) to the patient.
